Ans:- Being outspoken won’t work neither calmness will work. Your answers must be brief but elaborative and to the point. Take your time to answer there isn’t any hurry.

Ans:- There were 3 interview rounds. The first technical followed by the HR round and after shortlisting, there was a managerial round.

Ans:- First round was a technical interview wherein they wanted to check the basic core concepts of your favorite subjects in the electrical domain. Also, they asked to explain the projects done so far, what difficulties you faced during those projects. What programming languages do you know?
In the HR round, they want to check your communication skills. Questions were: tell me about yourself, why should we hire you? What qualities make you stand different from your other colleagues? What else did you do other than academics? and some questions based on my resume.
In the managerial round, they explained the role and asked whether you know or work on any simulating software like Matlab? Also asked few questions on resume(like languages, extra and co-curricular activities)

Ans:- Basic questions were asked regarding your core knowledge, checking your communication skills, confidence. Tip: if you don’t know the answer, don’t create one. Just say I don’t have an idea about it or I’ll look into it.

Ans:- Google about the company, its recruiting procedure, mostly asked questions on glassdoor or other websites, study your project thoroughly and make sure you can explain any point written in your resume.

Ans:- Be clear with your projects and have your basic concepts clear of the electrical domain (mostly of your favorite subjects)

Ans:- Technical Interview was longest covering all the domains of subjects and must know knowledge of electrical. HR was on personality check and they were making sure that we will need to work on site, so “Are you willing?”.

Ans:-In TCE, all kind of questions from Supply coming on board, Transformer in our college, train Working voltage, Transformer phaseing and their windings, machines, cables, why Transformer is in KVA, explain in, counter questions, where did you visited, In my case AC and DC substations….so whay were the differences and so on………

Ans:-My most good resource was people who just gave interview and get idea of interview structure and questions. Another was my AC machines notes, common electrical knowledge notes and finally my confidence in front of them.

Ans:-If you want to join any company and work hard for it, no matter how long it takes you will be placed. Keep your patience and continue. Fall and get up again, this way you will not only gain experience but also temper yourself.
As for TCE, selection rate is low and needs firm grasp in Technical along with impactful performance.

Ans:-It was online interview due to. Pandemic. It was mixed of technical and HR. As this company is related to generating electricity to distribute it to end user so question was mostly related to power system, transformer, substation etc.
In HR part, it was like general question about hobbies, why do you want to join and other things. My interview was around 20 to 25 minutes long. Meanwhile, i was working for a chemical industry as Maintenance engineer so they also asked about question related to my role in that company and other things.

Ans:-Internet, books, lots of research about company goals, study of Job profile in detailed manner which helps a lot to expect the context of interview. Prepare technical basics from different sources like electrical4u, videos from YouTube. Books also help, but dont go too deep.

Ans:-Study well about the company profile, about their goals and most importantly study the Job profile they provide well in advance, so that you are aware about the technical expectations. If not provided, ask Dhaygude sir upfront. I would suggest be confident, smile and have faith in yourself. Be patient while they ask design related or tech questions. Take time to think properly and answer. If your need to understand more on the requirements about the problem statement, ask without hesitation. The Interview ppl are very very friendly and always take care that you are comfortable. You can also apply online for Philips on the official website on careers page. On campus and off-campus process is almost the same.
