Adani electricity , TCS , Cognizant

Ans: For adani electricity mumbai limited first round was aptitude+ technical test . Aptitude questions were easy; whatever we learnt in aptitude pre placement program was enough and some basic questions of power system, electrical machine and few numericals. After clearing first round every shortlisted candidate have to complete next round i.e. one way interview. These interviews are AI based . Software asking question and there is time bound. We have to upload video of answer. As both rounds were cleared I recieved invitation for final interview. These interviews were held in KIT college kolhapur. From mechanical, electrical branches total 14 students arrived for final interview. For final interview there was 3 panelists. They were asking about our academic history, some technical questions about subjects we learnt and few questions about internship or certification if you have. Eaton

Ans : Eaton visited campus virtually in month of February for hiring interns. So we filled the forms mentioning 10th,12th marks and CGPA till that semester and other required data we provided. After few days they sent list of shortlisted candidates.
Here is round details:
1st Round: Technical Interview
My technical interview started in the afternoon around 3:30PM. Level of difficulty was moderate. He just wanted to know about my knowledge of fundamentals of electrical engineering mainly Power System.
He asked me to share my screen of laptop and explain the resume. I explained very well. In my resume I had mentioned 2 mini projects. This Projects I had covered in previous semesters. He asked about me about projects to check whether I really worked on that. He asked me where this project will fail to work and why.
I had mentioned about MSEB Internship, so he asked questions on what work you did, what new things you learnt over there.
So now he started asking me questions related power system and transmission lines, transformers. I was able to answer most of the questions.
I would say it was healthy conversation between me and interviewer like we were discussing something.
At the last he said we’ll get back to you with HR..
Those we cleared Technical Round , had to appear for HR interview
2nd Round: HR interview
HR asked me questions based upon non-technical activities that i mentioned in my resume. About clubs, hobbies, achievements. Other questions were to check will i be loyal with organization.
This was about how I was selected for internship at Eaton. But later for getting full time offer at Eaton i had again given two rounds.
1.Project Presentation: In front of manager , whatever work i did during internship period i had presented. Based on this i got call from HR for full time offer.
HR Interview: For full time offer, HR interview was taken. She asked about my experience and key learnings, whether i am willing to continue as a full time employ, etc.
After few days I got a mail stating i was selected for full time job role
[ 2 ] Prerequisite requird for appearing in interview process ?Ans : Prerequisites for interviews include logical puzzles and guesstimates. Note that approach is very important in Guesstimates. Final answer will not matter most of the times. If you’re good at programming, you can expect a lot of coding questions, where some can even be based on real life situations and cases. Basic knowledge about your field of engineering is preferable. Soft Skills are the most important part in any interview and not just Aspect Ratio’s process.
[ 3 ] Number of rounds ?Ans : 1.Technical interview, 2. HR interview
[ 4 ] How you prepared yourself for interview process ?Ans : You tube: Power System and Machines by Ankit Goyal kreatryx
Power System by V.K.Mehta. Power Electronics: More Sir’s lectures.
Aptitude: careerride.com, faceprep.
Communication: Ellen show( I used to watch this , it helped me in improving my conversational skills)
[ 5 ] Suggestions for juniors ?Ans : Give equal importance to softskills as technical skills.
(Softskills: Proper English Communication and Confidence is enough).

Aspect Ratio

Ans : First round consisted of an online entrance test which had three sections (Basic maths, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, Programming). Basic maths can be solved by majority of the crowd whereas DILR requires some mental preparation. Practicing some puzzles and data interpretation questions will help in acing the test. Programming was not mandatory during our process. But being good at programming might provide an edge later on. But shortlisting is very much possible even after solving 0 programming questions.
After shortlisting, interviews are held. Furthermore, if you’re selected in the 1st interview, they might call you for a second or third interview post which results are announced.
